Have put some more books up on my bookshelf, I thought it would be more interesting to place some older titles amongst the usual suspects, the over familiar stuff most people seem to know about, if not read. It was good to browse through my old books and reaquaint with some old friends.
Today is St George's Day in England. Not that it means much to me although I do like the idea of name days, days that celebrate some obscure saint that your christian name is derived from. I have a name/saints day calender from France which I like to check out daily, and today is also the feast of St George and tomorrow is St Fidele. Any excuse for a party.
At least it has warmed up a bit weatherwise. This morning there was a soft velvety rain followed by a fresh burst of sunlight, ideal growing conditions, in more ways than one.
